This article touches upon some issues regarding the preparation of mathematics teachers in the context of the massive introduction of technologies based on artificial intelligence in education. The use of generative artificial intelligence breaks the classical methods of training and assessment into a new form, which must be very quickly felt and applied by future teachers. Under the new conditions, the motivation for learning and the understanding of “knowledge” and “skill” are set within very broad limits, which modern teachers should mark and follow with their students. Data are presented regarding the opinion and work style of future teachers when applying generative artificial intelligence in their work. Some good practices are presented.
