Formation of metacognitive competences through creating games

This article explores the possibilities of forming metacognitive competencies through the use of the project method for creating educational games in mathematics classes. The project stimulates creativity, non-standard thinking and teamwork, overcoming traditional difficulties in motivating students. The method demonstrates potential for integration with the STEM approach and various technologies, which offers new opportunities for modernizing the educational process.
