Abstract

The article analyzes basic concepts about the implementation of the problem-based approach in mathematics education. The main goal is to increase the interest and motivation of students and activate their creative abilities. Ideas are offered for applying the problem-based method in teaching progressions. The author provides various examples of organizing intra-subject and inter-subject connections, non-standard and creative problems, rebuses, problems related to the logical organization of definitions, etc. They are selected to inspire students and practice their skills to reach new knowledge by themselves.
