Broadening the students’ horizons in the mathematics class
Abstract
The teaching of mathematics supports the development of students’ personalities – both with the specific knowledge they acquire and through the influence that mathematics has on their way of thinking. This report presents a specific problem that encourages students to seek solutions in different frameworks. An opportunity is presented to expand the practical benefits of teaching mathematics.
