On students’ achievements assessment in Chernorizec Hrabar Tournament and TIMSS

Abstract

Two pairs of similary problems from the Chernorizec Hrabar Math Tournament and TIMSS (Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study) are compared. An attempt to explain the statistics of these problems is done.
